So what am I writing anyway?!
Natalie has always been an avid reader. A VORACIOUS reader. She wears her kindle reading streak like a badge of honor, so it’s natural that she would take up writing. Despite her love of books; it wasn’t until college that she took the plunge and declared a minor in comedy writing. She specializes in screen writing with a focus on television. In college she took classes in writing script coverage, spec scripts, original pilots, and working in a writers room. Though comedy is her specialty she loves tackling more dramatic pieces, and hopes to write a book one day that is not only serious but also an epic fantasy adventure. Books may be her first love, but Natalie’s ultimate dream is to write a show and be in it. Some of her inspirations include Freaks and Geeks, Broad City, and Curb Your Enthusiam. Additionally, Natalie is an advocate for getting female and nonbinary representation in writers rooms, and can’t wait to see what her fellow ladies will accomplish in this field together.
Big News!
Natalie and her writing partners’ recently won The Finding Hart Pilot Pitch Contest for their original pilot Late Bloomers! Late Bloomers is a sitcom about the antics that go on in a nursing home. From power hungry head nurses, geriatric bad boys, and jazzercise fanatic cheerleaders; this nursing home is looking a lot more like high school than you would expect.
